I started this project in the spring time with the intention of practicing vector illustration. I wanted to create something playful, inspired by gardens, rain, and childhood. This inspired me to choose a limited color palette with earthy, contrasting tones.
I chose to illustrate animals that have a reputation for being funny and awkward, the less elegant members of the animal kingdom. While the animals I chose are not commonly grouped together I thought they'd make an entertaining team.
